Customer/Product History (SA91)

Sometimes you might want to know how many units of a particular product a specific Customer is buying in a given period and if there are any trends in their purchases. The 'Customer Product History' provides you with the past 3 years of sales for a particular product and Customer. The information provided lists Units and Dollar amounts, and shows you the variances between the 3 years.

Additional Benefits

  • Provides a list of all the items that a Customer has purchased from you in the past.
  • Remove a product from your Customers Rapid Order Entry History in Order Processing Module - OP01.
  • Allows you to see the product that was substituted the last time the applicable product was sold.

Creating Sales Rep Commissions in WinFDS

Not every company has Sales Representatives that are on a commission basis but we know many are. We also know that for those companies that do have commissioned Sales Reps, there could be many different scenarios of commissions and how they get calculated. This week we will discuss setting up commission rates for a Sales Rep, showing how you can get very specific about customer and product commissions, and then we will generate a commission statement that will indicate what commissions are owing the Sales Rep.

Major Category Overall Analysis (SA59) in WinFDS

Did you ever wonder how a particular group/category of products is doing? Or maybe you want to see how a group/category is doing over last year or the previous year. There are many analyses and reports in the Sales Analysis Module that allow you to sort Products by Category. However, each of these analyses and reports provide specific information related to the performance criteria of the module. The "Major Category Overall Analysis" analyzes the performance of the Major Categories. The report provides data on the Major Categories you have created in the Major Categories Master File.

  • Ability to analyze dollar and profit information by Major Category
  • Ability to analyze Major Category dollar and profit information for a specific week or period
  • Ability to analyze Major Category dollar and profit information year over year for the past 3 years
